5. Cinnamon Apple Brie Crescent Rolls

 Cinnamon Apple Brie Crescent Rolls

Cinnamon Apple Brie Crescent Rolls are an easy roll recipe that works as an appetizer, side, snack, or dessert! Stuffed crescent rolls have become a fun focus of mine lately. They take just minutes to prepare and are a great way to jazz up a roll for meals. I took the same concept of a baked brie that is wrapped in dough and applied it to these crescent roll recipes.

But the rolls make it more accessible for meals and quick appetizer recipes without having to bake an entire wheel of brie. The Cinnamon Apple Brie Crescent Rolls might not puff up as much as when they are empty, which is because of the weight from the applies and the brie. But they do cook through and puff a little!

1. Whipped Brie with Herbs and Honeycomb

Whipped Brie with Herbs and Honeycomb

Buttery and light as air. This delightful, whipped brie is topped with fresh thyme and a sweet, golden honeycomb! This is one of those recipes that I keep in mind when I want to make an appetizer that’s super simple but also super impressive. I have to credit the great Chef Thomas Keller of The French Laundry for this technique.

When I first saw this technique in his French Laundry cookbook I was immediately intrigued – would this actually work? And amazingly, it did! I have always been surprised that this technique has never quite taken off and I rarely see recipes featuring whipped brie cheese. Brie cheese itself is deliciously creamy but once whipped it becomes luxuriously silky soft with a taste like butter! It is truly a revelation and a fun recipe to share with others. The brie can be served plain but I like folding in fresh herbs like thyme or savory.
