Ingredients

  • 2 large Crisp apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Granny Smith), cored and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Powdered peanut butter (e.g., PB2) mixed with 1.5 tbsp water (for lower points) OR 1 tbsp warm creamy natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp Mini dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp Rolled oats, lightly toasted
  • 1 tsp Honey or pure maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Fresh lemon juice (to toss with apple slices to prevent browning)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Apples: Wash, core, and thinly slice the apples. Toss the slices with lemon juice in a medium bowl to prevent browning.
  2. Arrange: Layer the apple slices on a large platter or dinner plate in an overlapping circular pattern, just like traditional nachos.
  3. Prepare the Drizzle: In a small microwave-safe bowl, mix the powdered peanut butter with water until smooth. Warm in the microwave for 10–15 seconds so it drizzles easily.
  4. Drizzle: Evenly drizzle the warm peanut butter over the layered apple slices.
  5. Add Toppings: Dust the apples evenly with ground cinnamon. Sprinkle the toasted rolled oats and mini dark chocolate chips over the top.
  6. Finish & Serve: Optional: Drizzle with honey or maple syrup. Serve immediately and enjoy fresh!
