Equipment

  • 1 Knief
  • 1 Grill Pan
  • 1 Spoon
  • 1 Tong

Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 1 pound Chicken Thighs boneless
  • 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
  • 3 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 5 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt as per taste
  • Pepper as per taste

For the Tacos

  • 8 nos. Flour Tortilas small
  • 1 cup Salsa Tomato, Onion, Jalapeno, Cilantro chopped
  • ½ cup Lettuce shredded
  • ¾ cup Cheese shredded
  • 1 nos. Avocado peeled & sliced

Instructions

For the Chicken

  • First, combine all ingredients such as taco seasoning, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl and whisk well.
  • When the spices are whisked well, add the chicken thighs and mix well. Make sure all the thighs are nicely coated, otherwise toss them again.
  • Now it's time to marinate. At least 10 minutes is essential, if possible refrigerate for up to 24 hours to marinate.
  • Now it's up to you what you want to use, if you have a grill pan that's best, otherwise a simple skillet will do. Heat the grill pan well.
  • Drizzle a little olive oil on top. Arrange the chicken thighs on the pan.
  • At least 4-5 minutes are needed for each side to cook properly, if needed it may take a little longer.
  • Then take the chicken thighs off the grill pan and after they cool, cut them into pieces with the help of a knife. Cut to your preferred size, but I prefer to cut into bite-sized pieces.

For the Taco

  • First, place 1 tbsp of lettuce on the bottom of each tortilla.
  • Now divide the chicken pieces evenly among all the tortillas.
  • Then spread that specially made salsa (tomato, onion, jalapeño, and cilantro).
  • Top with sliced avocado and serve immediately.
